WORK EXPRESSION

The workplace concept is changing with time and it is inclined towards creating a need based environment. Though people still follow the age old practices of a cubicle and cabin philosophy but the work needs have made the work culture and the workplace evolve from the conventional arrangements to a modern and smarter work expression.

Work Expression, as work is a way of expressing one's skills to complete the assigned task allotted to an individual or taken by an individual over the course of his job or his lifetime. Now is the time when people are trying to create a workplace where one wishes to go, rather has to go. Where 'wish to go' conveys freedom and choice of happiness, 'has to go' conveys a forced and imposed compulsion without one's choice, but just for the sake of earning his share of a daily bread and butter.

If it is about earning a bread and butter, then why not make the place where it is earned, a place where one could feel energized and happy about coming to. A place where one could feel motivated and energized has a lot better chances to grow and prosper, as it reflects the intentions of the business owners, that they expect results and efforts from their employees, not just in lieu of the salaries they extend but for the comfort and freedom of work expression they impart to their teams.

Many a businesses face the inter department lobbies and communication gaps, the extent of which may vary from business to business but it still exists and has become a part of everyday work culture. Where creating a problem for one another is a part of a work, rather than creating a solution for every problem. It isn't a practice guided by a healthy competition but is directed towards establishing a survival strategy for one's own existence.

Days have come when the business owners prefer to have a collaborative work culture, as they know that even a silent or the most introvert employee of their camp, too must have something brilliant to suggest. It's about engaging all their workers into discussions, given a chance to express and speak up. Lessening up the gap between departments and bringing them together to contribute is what businesses are trying to do, which helps them in meeting their business goals and retaining their work force, as there are many a hidden costs and expenditures which are involved in developing the skills of each individual employee, that a business owner pays for, and nobody wants their best men to leave and work for someone else.


A workplace where an individual gets the feeling of belongingness, has more chances that he would stay there. This feeling is contributed by the conducts and behavior of the staff and the owners, but the furniture arrangement and and the furniture type too acts as an important contributor to it. As it's an element with which an individual spends the most hours of his day and so the more at ease he is with his surroundings the more are his chances to stay and be a part of that work environment. 

We at Pyrotech Workspace closely observe the ever changing needs of the work style and work preferences. We believe that furniture is not a mere non-living element of a surrounding but it adds an essence and flavor of life to the work environment.

At Pyrotech Workspace we design need based furniture and work expressions. Not every work expression is similar to the other. The furniture arrangement and the type of furniture depends on its use. Not every work expression could be confined to a typical cubical arrangement and it is not
mandatory for  managers to be seated in closed cabins. The arrangements and the furniture types have to be interactive and collaborative.

The furniture must serve the specific work style needs of an individual and the entire work environment, where a manager could not only complete his own task, but could also interact and contribute to the tasks of his team and where each of his team member is motivated to suggest.

We give shape to each work expression, studying and understanding it's level of participation and contributions, so that we could offer the best suited work environment, where individuals wish to come rather they have to come.

Need Driven Innovations


Every idea is driven by certain needs. An idea is directed towards finding the reasons for which it must be generated, being it recognizing a problem with the existing solution, knitting the incomplete and missing threads of an imperfect situation or finding new possibilities to the ever changing needs and practices of human behavior to make things better and easier.

There was a time when workplaces were limited to just a sitting arrangement within a work room, with less emphasis and concerns about the human factors which too influence the overall performance of a system. The human-machine interface and its interaction with the environment are the key factors that are now taken into consideration while designing a workplace.

The human effort considerations are now taken into account, as it influences the overall performance of a system. Gone are the days when a workplace was limited to a rigid furniture web within a specific boundary. The human needs are of more importance in the present work scenario. The human needs are the guiding force behind most of the successful furniture innovations these days.

We being into the business of control room consoles, realized that the comfort needs of an operator enhances a smooth operation within a task critical control room environment. An operator at comfort will add more efforts and will contribute to a better and enhanced system performance. 

For the same concern, we have designed a motorized Sit-to-Stand height adjustable control room console for the first time in India, which promotes healthy experience for 24X7 work style, enhancing blood circulation for better performance and maximum focus, as sitting for long hours induces health problems  and makes you body a home of diseases.

Our consoles are designed to fulfill the health needs of the operators and the overall health of system performance. It's a scientific study that says, "one must stand from their work chairs after every half an hour to avoid and control any cardiac, blood pressure and blood sugar diseases". We give a control room console onto which the operators could perform various task critical operations at different height adjustable options without any posture disorders.

Plan follows Reason: From Owners Desk

Every designing and planning effort comes into action only in the presence of a strong reasoning behind it. There are reasons behind the existence of everything that exists, some are discovered while many are still unknown, but nothing exists without a reason. The sun, the moon, the stars and the entire universe too has a reason of existence.

Planning without reasoning is like living without a purpose, while even a furniture has a purpose of its existence, the purpose that had a strong reasoning of a human brain while planning its tangible existence. Reason is the source of every scientific invention. Looking at a bird flying in the open vast sky could be the reason behind the crave of humans to invent a device that could help them fly higher than their imaginations and an airplane was born.


The very basic and core reason behind planning could either be the thought to innovate something new, or to recognize the existing problem that could have been a reason of hindrances in the steps towards the decided path of success. Recognizing a problem or making a reasoning to reach to the inception of a plan is more important than the actual plan and its execution. In the absence of reasons for initiating a plan, most of the plans fail, as planning in the absence of reasoning mostly leads to a set of incomplete conclusions which are then needed to be attended again and again but yet the final concluded ends are never met.


Our each set of product and solution has a story behind it, from the very basic reasoning to its final launch in the market. We were not into a practice of sharing our stories, we just sold our products and so our efforts too were targeted only towards making profits, while each of our tangible solution has a story of reasons behind its existence.  The reasons and efforts without which we would have never existed. 



Initially we gave shape to our designs and our imaginations to bring our products and solutions into existence, and then later, our designs, our products and our solutions helped us to get and earn an existence of our own. We became Pyrotech Workspace Solutions Pvt. Ltd. and we prospered onto the path we wrote for our choice of existence. We are into the process of writing stories for our beloved products. Soon we'd bring them to you.

Workspace Control Room Consoles

A Control Room Console is one of the most essential element of a mission critical control room. It is the support system for controlling and monitoring various task critical operations within a defined territory. 

The control room operators, their interaction with the machines, equipments, operations and the tasks assigned to them, contribute to the Human Factors. Interactive Idea Center

We are humans and we all are like our fingerprints, unique and distinct. Just the way we differ in our individual characteristics from each other, we also differ in our individual ambitions, work habits, performances, efforts, job types  & goals. No two individuals could perform in the same way to give exactly the same output, even if they do, their work styles and conducts would still be different, so are their needs, both personal and professional. 

The workplace must be designed in such a way that it best suits the individual's work style. Adding a flavor of an interactive environment to the work place boosts up the very performance of an individual. While everyone of us have specific personal needs, we have certain professional needs too. 

Today the work needs have changed. The owners prefer to give their staff an interactive environment, where the office design and its set up interacts with the job type of each individual. The study and understanding  of the task specific factors that  influence and govern the performance of staff members, play an important role in establishing less stressed and more focused office ambience.

Interactions within a work environment are divided into zones depending on the type of interactions and  requirements. Each interaction has a specific zone philosophy, which has a time quotient attached with it. While some interactions are brief, some are discussion based which are directed to reach a conclusion irrespective of the time it takes.

Intra-Department Interactions - Interactions for communicating the guidelines within a department.

3rd Party Interactions - Interactions with a 3rd party for negotiations, tie-ups, technical support, training, workshops etc.


The Green Room Concept: 

In show business, the space in a theatre, studio or similar venue which functions as a waiting room and lounge for performers before and after a performance, and during the show when they are not engaged on stage is known as the green room.

The same practice is followed even in the case of Conference Room Interactions, where certain warm-up and cool-down sessions are required before and after the conference. Just before the conference, certain preparations and final discussions are carried out, while in the post conference session the results, suggestions and comments are analyzed and concluded. What if these activities are conducted just near the conference room rather than in some distant meeting room. 

Even if the important points are jotted down during a presentation or a conference, yet there are chances of losing the fresh ideas, pre or post conference session with every delayed minute taken to record it. The Spacious Evolution


A spacious arrangement creates a spiritual interaction between an individual's soul and its work (Karma). A Spirit at peace with its surroundings find its way to the doors of salvation while walking on the path of an unconditional offering towards its God in the shape of its True Karma. In the ancient times, people had certain methodical work styles which were a part of their way of living.

The era of B.C. and A.D. have many a visible and readable examples of brilliant architecture, ruling strategies of management and methodologies of work which have laid a foundation for the present  work styles. We have only evolved ourselves in accordance with the changing needs but the foundation still rests with our History. 

Those were the days when life was mostly spent into the open fields, the soul was free to wander in the grasses and under the blue sky, where thoughts had no boundaries and could travel to the furthest seamless corners of the open vast fields till where the eye could see and the view was never blocked. This unperturbed interaction of the soul with its surroundings directed the individual's thought towards the accomplishment of its Karma, the outcome of which we see in many a discoveries, inventions, architecture, philosophies, literature and managerial concepts, about which we read in our history books. What we are living today is just an evolution from the ancient way of life. 

Our self written philosophy that says - "A soul into a relation of peace with its surrounding delivers the best and unconditional efforts through its Karma", made us believe that evolution and an open work practice could help in delivering a better way of life.

Life and Lifestyle is all about transformation and evolution. Life evolves for the rejection of practices that are no longer required and for the acceptance of a lifestyle that best favors the present way of living, that's the reason why evolution is always for betterment and portrays a positive element for existence. 

No wonder why the monkeys evolved into humans and the antelopes into Giraffes. The needs, the habits and the changing lifestyle lead this happen. We too have evolved a long way from the time while there were no techno gadgets like the cell phones, the laptops, social networking and the ease of connecting with the world through internet.




There were days when these were considered to be substances of luxury and class while today these all have become an integral part of our lifestyle, without which we cannot imagine a single day of our life. Evolution was and is always the most in-trend thing ever. Living and improving the present is the key to a happy life and evolution speaks the best for it. 

Offices and the work styles too have evolved over all these years. The methods, the practices, the job types and styles too have kept changing from generations to generations. While there was a time when the cluttered, closed and compact office set ups with bulky furniture were the only possible arrangements inside an office, time evolved and replaced the scenario with the modular workstations and office cabins. 

Growing competition urges the need of a distraction free and more focused connective interaction with oneself and the surroundings. This thought prompted us to evolve the work environment.
